Rebuttal

Writer: In class we are learning about the usage sentence transitions and rebuttal. You can use your own example OR my research paper. Add what ever you would like as long as it will get an A+. Please follow grading rubric.

Write a rebuttal to a main point.
You may use information from the research on which you have based your  Portfolio Project; you may use another example entirely.
The rebuttal should consist of:
  • A summary paragraph that contains the main argument.
  • A paragraph – with a transition sentence -- that introduces an opposing viewpoint and briefly mentions the most important aspect of it.
  • A paragraph in which you rebut the opposing viewpoint.
  • A paragraph in which you resume making the case for original point.

Be sure to use clear transitions between all paragraphs. Use the link below to access the rubric.
