“Managing
Change”
Rationale
For an organization that you
know well (e.g., an organization where you are currently employed or
where you were employed previously), using the relevant concepts, theories and
models introduced in the module, describe and analyze any recent
organizational change, discuss the problems encountered in the process of
managing change and suggest possible solutions to these problems.
Methodology
This project can have different
degrees of practical involvement: (a) a purely analytical exercise; (b) an
analysis and prioritization based on the views of different stakeholders (whose
perceptions may be obtained through interviews); or (c) may even be based on a
small on-going implementation in a real organization monitored by y. (In
any case, use the “3-30-3” methodology, bearing in mind that actions –
fictional or partly real -- should be easy to implement, the theoretical
investment should be of not more than AED 75.000 and should not require the
recruitment of new staff or more than 20% of anyone’s time).
